Some of us are still not consumed about the fact that reducing waste will help solve problems of energy, pollution, as well as jobs because recycling creates more jobs than disposing.

People from developing countries are more aware of using recycled
materials than in developed countries. Usually they consume fewer resources and
produce less waste and make use of waste materials as many as possible.
Collecting, sorting and recycling are their kind of living. But in developed
countries, they are now trying to practice recycling materials just like in
industries where businesses are using recycled materials as packaging for their
products. Yet we cannot erase the fact that some people in the society are
still interested in buying new products or materials than in repairing old
items.
There are a lot of things that we can contribute in waste saving
as citizens. Factories and industries can buy recycled materials, make items
last longer, use and sell waste materials, and repair damaged products. We may
not know but metal and aluminum can be used many times, we should be able to
use recycled scrap for almost all our steel needs. Offices and shops can use
recycled materials and use less packaging and returnable containers. They can
also reduce the use of papers or recycle it. It saves energy and forests. Homes
can sort and recycle household waste, compost vegetable waste, use recycled
materials and repair damaged items than dumping.
Job opportunities can also be
one of the benefits of saving wastes. Repair and recycling are cheaper and
provide more work than burning refuse which can give off poisonous fumes.

i remembered one of the seminars i attended about being aware of the ways to help save our earth, and there i also heard about industrial ecology. It is fairly right that we should consider being green and eco friendly in everything that we do.
ReplyDeleteThe companies today should think of innovative ideas but those should make less carbon footprint. And everyone should participate in this move and spread the ways of doing things the better way. i am happy that more and more people are getting aware of these things.
